Parking at Changi Airport: the Available Options
The vast and busy Singapore International Airport houses five parking facilities in total. Verily, four car parks serve each of the terminal buildings, whereas a fifth parking lot is conveniently located between T2 and the JetQuay terminal, the luxury terminal providing VIP services to all SIN passengers who are willing to pay the relevant fee. Moreover, there are no designated short-term and long-term facilities, but in general, all parking lots can be used both for short stays or even for longer parking periods.
Please note that all Singapore airport parking facilities are equipped with accessible parking spots.
The Changi Airport Parking Facilities
SIN Airport offers its passengers five parking lots and efficiently meets their parking needs. Hence, each terminal has its own car park, located near its entrance and exit doors. T1/ Jewel Parking Lot serves visitors heading to terminal 1 or Jewel Changi. It is an underground facility with a 900-spot capacity, which also has 100 parking spaces for motorcycles. Moreover, terminal 2 has two multi-level car parks, Car Park 2A and Car Park 2B, lying on each side of the terminal. They have a total of 2600 parking spaces and designated areas for motorcycles with a capacity of 600 parking spaces. Terminal 3 also features a multi-level underground car park on each side (Car Park 3A and Car Park 3B). The two parking facilities considerably raise the number of provided parking spaces in Changi Airport as they have 1700 spots for four-wheel vehicles and 130 spaces for motorcycles. Finally, two parking lots serve terminal 4 (Car Park 4A and Car Park 4B) as well, one multistory and one open-air, featuring 1700 parking spaces.
On the other hand, a fifth parking lot is to be found within Singapore airport’s premises. The Hub & Spoke Car Park is an uncovered parking facility situated between terminal 2 and JetQuay terminal. It has a total capacity of 230 parking spaces.
SIN passengers can also park their bicycles in the designated airport’s areas. Thus, there are two free bicycle parking lots, one right outside T2 at the Changi Airport Connector and the other close to T4. Nevertheless, should you want to use them, you’ll have to bring your own lock.
Changi Airport Car Parking Charges
All Changi airport parking lots charge approximately the same. That being said, the Hub & Spoke Car Park is slightly cheaper, while the Jewel Changi parking rates (the T1/Jewel Car Park’s prices) vary, as the parking lot is split into a general parking zone (B3 to B5) and a short-term parking area (B2M and B2). Explicitly, the Changi airport car parking rates are the following:

How to Pay for Parking at Changi Airport
All SIN airport parking facilities operate via an electronic parking system. Hence, parking payments can be made via cash cards or an Autopass Card. Verily, your card will be automatically charged with the parking fees as soon as you insert it at the In-vehicle Unit or the reader at the car park’s exit.
If your cash card or Autopass Card doesn’t have enough credit, you can top it up at the automated machines lying in all terminals and Changi airport parking lots. Please note that the automatic machines accept payments only via NETS.
The top-up machines at Singapore Changi Airport are to be found:
Car Park | Location |
---|---|
T1/Jewel | Level B2M to B5 (next to Lift and Escalator and Exit) |

The Long-term Changi Airport Parking Options
You won’t find long-term parking facilities at Singapore Airport. However, you can use (almost) all Changi airport parking facilities to park your car even for a longer period of time. Still, if you don’t pre-book and pre-pay your parking spot, you’ll end up paying a considerable amount of money.
Hence, long-term parking at Changi Airport requires an in-advance reservation and payment, at least if you want to avoid being charged an excessive sum of money. Indeed, in that way, the parking fees start from S$40/$29.60/€27.65 per day for 1 to 21 days.
Thus, if you want to park your vehicle for more than 24 hours at Singapore Airport, you can buy a Park & Fly eCoupon through the Changi app. On the other hand, travelers who prefer physical coupons or have foreign cars without an In-Vehicle unit can buy coupons through the Changi app or via the iShopChangi simply by setting the chosen Changi airport parking location, the date, and the parking duration.
Park & Fly Coupons can be used in all terminals’ parking lots (T1/Jewel – General, T2A, T2B, T3A, T3B, T4A, T4B, and Hub & Spoke Car Park) except for the Short-term area (B2M and B2) of T1/Jewel Car Park.
Having bought a Park & fly physical coupon, you’ll enter the chosen Singapore airport parking lot and park your vehicle. However, you’ll have to reach one of the iShopChangi Collection Centers lying at the Arrivals halls of all terminals and collect the coupon. Please remember that you can collect your coupon from any terminal but are allowed to park your vehicle only at the chosen terminal’s parking facility. Once you want to leave the airport, all you’ll have to do is scan the coupon at the exit of the car park.
Please note that only one coupon can be used at a time.
Our Tip 1: Coupons can be purchased from 30 days to 12 hours prior to the arrival of your flight at SIN Airport.
Our Tip 2: Changi reward parking privileges can be combined with Park & Fly Coupons.
The Pick-Up/Drop-Off Parking Options at Changi Airport
If you want to pick up or drop off passengers at Singapore Changi Airport, you should bear in mind that all parking lots are free for the first 10 minutes. Still, you’ll be charged according to each price table from the 11th minute and on. On the other hand, the pickup locations are to be found at Basement 1 of T1, Level 1 of T2, Basement 1 of T3, and Level 1 of T4. However, you can only stop curbside to pick up passengers in those locations. Therefore, you aren’t, under no circumstances, allowed to park your vehicle there.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at Singapore Airport
Changi International Airport offers various EV charging stations to its passengers. However, they are available upon payment. Hence, six charging stations are to be found at T1/Jewel Car Park (at B3, Lobby C/ The parking spaces 207-212) and six at T3A Car Park (at B1/ The parking spaces 237-242). If you want to use one of these facilities, you must download the SP Utilities app.
